Elaheh Nobakht (Managing Director of Elsa Image) Appointed Jury Member at the Competition Section of the Visions du Réel International Film Festival in Switzerland

The Visions du Reel International Film Festival in Switzerland—one of the world’s three most prestigious documentary film festivals—will hold its 56th edition from April 4 to 13 in the city of Nyon.

Iranian film producer Elaheh Nobakht will serve on the competition jury alongside Swiss filmmaker and screenwriter Elie Grappe, director of the acclaimed film Olga, which won the Critics’ Week Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022 and was Switzerland’s official Oscar entry that same year. Petra Mitric, an independent film producer from Serbia, is also part of the jury.

Together, they will evaluate twelve films competing in the main section. Visions du Reel (meaning “Visions of Reality”) aims to spotlight bold and innovative films that explore truths of the past, present, and future, while also discovering emerging talents in the world of documentary filmmaking.
