Ali Pakzad

Ali Pakzad is a young Iranian documentary filmmaker, journalist, and photographer who started his career a decade ago by working for contemporary Iranian intellectual and reformist publications. He
continued his activities by making documentaries on social issues inside and outside the country. He has addressed subjects such as a burning in an Iranian girls’ school, the 2022 Iranian women's
movement for freedom, the Taliban’s new rule in Afghanistan, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and a recent earthquake in Turkey, among others. He has organized photo and video art exhibitions with the above theme.
