Taees Gheirati

She is a Ph.D. candidate in ethnomusicology, focusing on the female musicians of Eastern Khorasan in Iran. Born and raised in Khorasan, she has a lifelong immersion in this rich cultural heritage. With the assistance of a professional team, she is embarking on her directorial debut with a
documentary project aimed at amplifying the voices of women who rarely have the chance to be heard or seen. In Search of the Lost Voice aims to preserve the art and culture of these women and shine a light on their resilience by sharing their stories.
