Rahim Zabihi​

Rahim Zabihi was born in 1971 in Eastern Kurdistan, and worked as a director and screenwriter, with over 20 years of experience in cinema and theater arts. He directed 17 short and feature films as well as documentaries, winning many international awards. His film Hawar won the Best Film award at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. He was murdered at the age of 47 for unknown reasons.
