In search of the lost voice of Soraya, in a land where women’s voices are hushed, Taees, an ethnomusicologist, travels to Khorasan, Iran where, she meets four women singers from four generations who are trying to make their songs last despite society’s and the state’s disdain.

An acting-crazed girl named Maria from a traditional family plays the role of a prostitute in a movie, without the knowledge of her family. When the footage of her acting rehearsals goes viral, her family believe that she has really become a prostitute and, therefore, their reputation is ruined. Right after this incident, the girl disappears. Two years later, the director of the movie she was supposed to act in, makes a movie about what had happened. On the day of the director's wedding ceremony, to everyone's amazement, Maria falls from a footbridge onto the director's car, ruining everything. The director tries to find out the reason for Maria's by learning about her family‒like a detective.​

A first-grade primary school teacher in a poor suburb of Tehran assigns a letter to each student and asks them to bring items starting with an assigned letter, related to their fathers’ jobs. Mehdi's father is a fruit seller and he must bring 30 apples (“Seeb” in Farsi) to class on the “S” Day. However, an unfortunate event immerses the family in a crisis. Saeed, Mehdi's older brother, should find a way to overcome this challenge and help Mehdi for “the apple day”.

Kal Fatemeh lives in her farm away from the village with her two sons. She depends on the farm and her cattle for a living which is not without challenges. She is grieving over her daughter's unhappy past.​

A teenage girl named Sahar, who has recently lost her mother, is trying to care for her father—a man with special needs. Upon her admission to university, she must choose between staying with her father and pursuing her dreams for a better future.​

This documentary follows the life of an 80-year-old mother named Firouzeh who is fond of her isolated lifestyle in nature with her cows. The film shows her kind and loving character and demonstrates her bravery and strength tackling the hardship of life in the Alborz mountains without the modern comforts of technology. She believes happiness lies in the simplicities of life.

With Dreams' Gate Negin Ahmadi embarks on a personal journey into the combat zone of northern Syria to explore what it means to be a woman. Alone with her camera, she seeks answers to her questions by encountering women who embody the strongest contemporary myth of female strength and freedom: Kurdish female fighters. The personal search and internal struggles transform into an intimate womanly diary written in the first person. Following, sharing, and witnessing the lives of these Kurdish women challenges the director's self-image and raises questions about the cost of equality and freedom in this troubled region.​

Morteza sells all his property in the city and buys an old castle in the edge of desert connected to hectares of land which has been abandoned for years and has not been cultivated.
